You can submit any personal or family portrait or headshot. We are not accepting corporate sponsorship, this is a project about the people and causes most important to San Diego.

This is not only about creating a mural – it's about making a difference! Your donated photo will be linked to the website of a charitable cause that is important to you. You choose the photo or have us take one with you, and for a minimum donation of $10 you will be a part of the project, along with a cause you support. The more photos we receive, the more causes we can support and promote. Remember, everyone can submit their portrait or family photo and link a cause dear to them to it. Together, we'll create a virtual gallery that resonates far beyond our city while loudly proclaiming the causes that matter most to the natives of San Diego.
🌟 How to Get Involved:
- Who Can Participate: Anyone who lives in the San Diego area. NO Purchase Required! We can schedule a photo session if you need a photo to be proud of, but you are welcome to submit your own. Corporate sponsors are not allowed and ID may be requested to confirm local residence before your photo and cause can be accepted. Anyone can donate to support the cause, but only local residents’ photos will complete this project.
- Donate Your Photos & Support: Visit our website, upload your favorite San Diego portrait or headshot (keep in mind all photos will be public) and donate to support our efforts.
- Spread the Word: Share our project on social media, and encourage others to join & contribute themselves.
- Support the Cause that Matters Most to You: Explore the websites linked to our contributor’s photos to explore what matters to your neighbors and drive traffic and awareness to the worthy causes you & others champion thru this project. The causes will be tied to the individual portraits. We may publish a separate list of all the causes supported by the participants, and are actively looking for opportunities to display the final mural in the city itself!

You can submit your Photo & Cause for inclusion in our mural projects by emailing them direct to us here or here. We will email you an invoice to donate, completing your entry to join thousands of your fellow San Diegans who have already begun this project. We are SOOooo excited to showcase the murals when we have enough photos (we aim for over 100,000 photos!). If you submitted your donation thru our "Tip" link, please add a note here with the receipt number of your donation to make it easier for us to track and include you in this project and remember, we need proof you live in the San Diego area, so we will reach out to confirm your email, local residency, and to forward us the photo you want us to use.
